🔵 The Way Back (a non-clinical psychosocial support service)
The Way Back NSW North Coast Service offers non-clinical, practical, psychosocial support for people, and their families, experiencing a suicidal crisis or who have attempted suicide delivered by trained Support Coordinators for a period of up to three months.
🔵 Family, Carers & Friends Support
The Family and Carer Support Program provides counselling services. Frameworks used for this program include; Individual, face-to-face and phone support, for those experiencing a loved one in addiction, Family relationship counselling, focusing on family dynamics, Collaboration with Family Drug Support (FDS), Education on cycle of addiction for the family.
🔵 Post Custodial Support (PCS)
Post Custodial Support (PCS) is a new drug and alcohol support program aimed at helping people who are being released from prison. The program is a voluntary program aimed at helping people who are leaving incarceration, transition back into the community.PCS provides integrated case management for people with harmful use of drugs and alcohol.
🔵 Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program (DATP)
The Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program supports improved health and social outcomes for individuals, families and communities at risk of, or currently affected by substance misuse in the North Coast region. DAT partners with participants, families, carers, other supports and broader mental health and health and social services.
🔵 Withdrawal Management Program (WMP)
Community-based withdrawal management for participants aged 16+ with substance misuse, both with and without mental health conditions in collaboration with a General Practitioner.
🔵 Redress Support Service
The Buttery’s Redress Support Service provides support to those who have experienced institutional child sexual abuse and wish to apply for the National Redress Scheme. The Buttery provides assistance with completing applications, emotional support throughout the application and outcomes process and warm referrals to legal, financial, counselling and psychological care providers.
