Join our Lunch & Learn session for AOD organisations
Carers NSW is pleased to share the newly released Carer, Family and Kin Inclusive Practice Guide for AOD Organisations, developed by Carers NSW in partnership with The Buttery.
This guide supports AOD providers to strengthen consistent, safe and practical approaches to recognising and responding to carers, families and kin in everyday care. It aligns with current policy, standards and evidence, and can be used within existing governance and quality systems.
The guide is supported by two companion resources:
Toolkit for AOD Organisations - to support leaders, managers and quality teams to embed inclusive practice within governance and systems
Toolkit for Frontline AOD Staff - offering practical language, decision supports and approaches for day-to-day practice.
These resources are now available from the Carers NSW website.
We are also hosting a free lunch and learn webinar on Tuesday July 28, from 12.00-1.00pm, providing opportunity to explore the resources in a collegial setting. Register your interest in the webinar here.
