The Buttery wins National Resilient Australia Mental Health & Wellbeing Award

We are proud to share that The Buttery, in partnership with Healthy North Coast, has been named a winner of the Resilient Australia Mental Health and Wellbeing Award in recognition of the impact of Safe Haven North Coast on disaster recovery and community wellbeing across the Northern Rivers.

From July 2022 to June 2026, Safe Haven North Coast supported more than 22,750 participants, delivered over 34,000 occasions of service and provided more than 14,000 hours of counselling. Evaluation findings demonstrated significant reductions in distress, improved social connection and reduced pressure on emergency and crisis services.

This award is a testament to the strength of community, collaboration and the dedication of our staff, peer workers, partners and supporters. We are honoured to be recognised and remain committed to helping people build resilience, strengthen connections and access compassionate support when and where they need it most.
