This evidence-based program provides treatment services and interventions for young people 12-24 years-old in locations including the Bellingen area, Maclean, Yamba and Grafton.

The Project works to build collaboration and partnerships with local health services, community organisations, indigenous groups and other organisations involved with youth.

The Project targets young people 12-24 years of age who are:

  • Experimenting with Alcohol and other drug (AOD) use.

  • Experiencing harm as a result of their AOD use.

  • At high risk of escalating their AOD use

The Project also targets the families of young people 12-24 who are participating in the counselling service and assists people working with young people 12-24 who have AOD issues.

The Project is aimed at increasing alcohol and other drug early intervention and treatment services for young people in the designated area.

The project will provide a range of evidence-based treatment and early intervention strategies to meet the needs of young people, their families, and the local community.
