The Buttery Centre of Excellence for Recovery from Addiction
Plans for The new Buttery Centre of Excellence for Recovery From Addiction have been approved by the Byron Shire Council.
This page shows a bird’s eye view of the new Buttery site, currently Ozzie Jackson Farm. The project includes a major replanting with native vegetation of the 40 acres, onsite sewage disposal and environmentally friendly building design.
Executive Director, Barry Evans worked closely with the project’s architects tzg, landscape architect Lisa Hochhauser and planner Rob Doolan.
The new Centre of Excellence for Recovery from Addiction will double the number of beds to 60 and provide research and training opportunities for doctors, psychologists and other health professionals.
