Updating the 2008-2009 calendar of events soon

Byron Yoga Fest 2008 - 2009
Byron Yoga Centre staged a One Day Yoga Fest on Saturday 5th January 2008 at its rooms in Childe Street, Belongil. Both rooms at the Centre were utilized with Yoga classes starting every 2 hours from 6 am to 6pm in the Meditation Room and Yoga workshops and talks starting in the Garden Room Every 2 hours from 7am to 7pm.
Highlights were Stephan’s workshop at 11am on 'Astanga Meditation and Philosophy' followed by John Ogilvie’s talk on ‘Training to be a Yoga Teacher’ at 1pm in the Garden room. Classes were facilitated by yoga teachers including Kara Goodsell and Davina Kruise. All local and visiting students of yoga were welcomed . Individual classes and workshops were $10 and a day pass $25. Proceeds of $1,000 have been donated to The Buttery's campaing to build a new Centre for Recovery from Addiction.
